Mosaic

Morning! First time working with the Olympia Tile Quebec collection 1x1's. Has anyone experienced a subtle change in color following installation? Right now the only thing we are leaning toward is the cleaning process having an effect.
Our job lead noticed a slight change with our final cleaning at install and then more significant changes when the hospital took procession and did their cleaning. Thanks in advance for any input!

Hi Tremain, and welcome aboard.

I have no experience with the product, and I'm going to move you to the Pro Hangout where you're more likely to get an answer.

Obviously I'm new to this process.

Didn't I hear about this yesterday? By the way, that specific tile is rated a Class 3 under the ISO Stain Test.

ISO 10545-14
Stain Resistance and Maintainability
Method applicable to all working surface of ceramic tiles to determine their resistance to stains. Each staining agent must remain on at least 5 testing samples, for at least 24 hours. Removal of the staining agent takes place in subsequent steps using various agents and cleaning procedures.

Class 5 Stain removed with hot water
Class 4 Stain removed with weak cleaner
Class 3 Stain removed with strong cleaner
Class 2 Stain removed with specific solvents
Class 1 Stain not removed

To meet the standard a tile must be rated Class 3 or higher.
