A follow up question - is the Tuscan system tool a suitable substitute for the MLT tool? They look the same, I figure no matter how things work out, it makes sense to have a back up.

Paul,

I have an MLT tool that has never been used, and I'm not going back into the tile flooring business. Send me your address by PM, and I'll mail it to you.

Also for future references. The reusable straps are made for the professionals, as it require to work clean and experience installing tiles. The one piece strap is more commonly use especially for commercial install and is very forgiving in the use of it as difference in performance and qualities from the reusable. In the meantime, what you can do is to remove caps by sliding em off, then rock strap back and forth in the direction of grout joints. If you have thinset residue in the joint, it will help to wet the setting material residue and rock back and forth the strap after few minutes. I have use a hog ring pliers before, when encountered stubborn straps. Please send me shipping address.

Not seeing it in there, Nick. We're you planning on putting it in there soon?

Edit: Okay, I see it in there now with the other items you have for sale.
