Frightening. Look like possibly a problem with the milling. Improper metal mix maybe.

I think you have just gotten lucky. I have bought .223 from walmart once and they got jammed almost every 3rd shot and one got jammed so bad that we hat to tear apart the AUG just to get the shell out. I had one buddy that bought .45's from WalMart and they would jam him up also. Never knew anybody else that ever bought rounds from walmart.

That's unreal, Jeff

This sidearm suffered a major timing problem.

It does not take much internet searching to find a boatload of issues with this Spanish piece.

Here is just one link from a shooter's forum:

I'm glad this three five seven POS did not hurt you or your brother.

Aha. Cheap import, eh?

As I think about it, it looks like the barrel might have been cast in a two-part mold. Hard to believe anybody would do that, but I guess it could happen.

Deal with walmart and other discounters both on ammo and the firearms they sell is that walmart tells the manufacture how much they will pay, and the manufacture adjusts their quality to meet that price. The name brand ammo you buy at walmart is not the same as that brand sold at a real gun shop--neither is the name brand weapon you by from walmart the same as that sold in a real gun shop. Wall mart special is just what it means.

same can be said about name brand tools bought from the big box stores--that makita saw or sander at home depot is not the same as the one from makita dealer.

also, what is the ammo in the box in the picture--doesn't look like .357 shells??

john the ammo in the picture r 410 . Was also shooting my new to me Springfield M6 Scout, nice break down survival riffle. Is an over and under barrel 22 long on top and 410 under. Really cool gun. also was shooting my 40 cal 22 glock. And my GSG 22 with 110 round drum clip

Just an FYI, the comment JVC makes about Makita is unequivocally not true. If you buy model 5007FK from any tool house and buy the same model from THD, they are the same saw. Period. End of discussion. This goes for literally every single model. Don't know about other manufacturers, but for Makita it is not true.

Ah, then I have been mislead by a makita dealer down in Austin---glad to be corrected on that issue.
