I like the idea of the tile top inserts for the Lati flange drain. I get too many last minute color changes with faucets so I'm looking at spec'ing the tile tops when I need a flange drain. I should be closing on one next week. (hope I can get one before April 1st if I sell this one...)

It is here, too. But when the standard stainless finish drain costs me 98.00, and the ORB drain costs me 130.00, everyone gets stainless unless otherwise specifically ordered, and then they'll pay the extra. In this case, I not only already ordered the stainless drain, but I even had it on site, and the contractor changed his mind...... on a spec house. So now he has an extra drain to use on his NEXT house.

Since early last year, I use brushed nickel (Kerdi drain) as standard. They look much better than the stamped stainless. I even use them if the homeowner goes with rubbed bronze. The rubbed bronze grates look horrible after they get used ... soap and hard water deposits.

I hear ya Matt,
I've done the same. The Kerdi BN grate is actually a tad darker than a standard BN faucet, at least to my eyes. I think they go fine either way

Love the tile in linear drain. I am getting started on my basement bathroom and I am going to give one these things a try. I was gonna try to be cheap and creative and work something up on my own but am gonna go the safe route and buy one of these things!

Looks great Brian! Nice work.
We should be getting our shipment in the first week of April. I can't wait! I expect it to be a popular product.

yeah Jeff, I'm not a fan of this type of floor but it came out nice.
John, I had my guy float it a wash it and then float it again an hour later so
there would be no divots or low spots. if I see a pin hole I'll kick his butt !
