I have 2 sides up just have the back (short) side left. Maybe ill try calling American standard. I would definately pay the $300. Although my angle grinder is on standby.

Fill with thinset. Should I use cementboad tape first then thinset then mesh tape with redguard. Or just slap some thinset over the holes and then mesh tape with redguard

Ooops I think that trowel is for floor adhesive/glue. Definately won't be using that one.

Can I use a 1/4" square notch trowel to lay ditra down on cement

Specs call for 1/4" x 3/16" v notch but mine is really worn out. And I have a few newer 1/4" trowels.
