Add new grout

I grouted my shower floor last year with flex color cq. I'm not liking the color. Would it be possible for me to go over the grout with a darker color ? Would it adhere to the old grout ?

have seen sal on youtube use ditra before also to hold mosaic together as one piece. Cool trick.

Pad out for accent tile

What is the preferred method to pad out mosaic accent tile to come flush with wall tile in a shower ? It seems an 1/8 off if you apply directly to shower wall.

It is not a cheap spout.
Again the directions called for pipe stub out of 3 7/8"

That's what I meant I didn't think a copper coupling would fit inside spout. What a PITA. This is the first push on spout I have dealt with. I don't think its supposed to be this hard. SMH:shrug:

Hi guys,

I am trying to install a new price phister tub spout. It is a push on type. The instructions said for copper to be cut from finished wall at 3 7/8. I did that and could not get the faucet...

Different grout colors on same job.

The job I'm on has 3 different grout colors. are there any tricks to the trade to cut off one color from another, or just tape areas off and run grout up to tape ?

Now lowes carries TEC powergrout. I am wondering if TEC product is just as good.
