Fill with thinset. Should I use cementboad tape first then thinset then mesh tape with redguard. Or just slap some thinset over the holes and then mesh tape with redguard

If I wanted to use rondec on top of my baseboard tiles.. Is there any way to butt that up to the bullnose and make it look good.

Ooops I think that trowel is for floor adhesive/glue. Definately won't be using that one.

Can I use a 1/4" square notch trowel to lay ditra down on cement

Specs call for 1/4" x 3/16" v notch but mine is really worn out. And I have a few newer 1/4" trowels.

Mashed it down with a wood float screeded it and smoothed it out with a steel trowel. Had a hard time with the steel trowel. Kept digging into the mud. Definitely takes practice.
