. . . to dump white stuff on Texas.

Yes, it's happened again. It's no secret that those who live in the frigid North are jealous of our warm Texas winters, and for years they have conspired to hire meteorologists, cloud seeders and other ne'er-do-wells to screw with our weather. Well, I hope y'all are happy.

Supposed to be hitting us a little today as well. Makes a fella want to just stay inside and nap all day long. :D

If you could send a lil of that my way. That would be great

Texas got snow before Wisconsin? Sweet! You can keep as much as you want.

Around these parts, the folks in charge of keeping the roads clear of snow LOOOOOOOVE salting the road. If we go a few weeks without having a reason to use salt, they get nervous ‘cause we gotta use up the ginormous stash of salt. Otherwise we won’t get money next year to accumulate a new ginormous stash.

Anything below 60 is to damn cold.

John Bridge 12-09-2017 08:43 AM

Fortunately, we are beginning to recover. There are only little reminders left where the drifts (about 4 inches) were piled up, and this afternoon's temp is slated to be in the sixties . . . even warmer tomorrow.

So all is not lost, but it was a close one. I'm telling you, we had nearly two inches in some spots.

I shudder to think what the death toll is at so far. Have we sent in troops to help? Is there a place we can donate to? Should we sent snow shovels? Boots? Space heaters? Oh, the horror!

Requisition paper cups and syrup. Start making snow cones.

John Bridge 12-11-2017 08:54 AM

Yes, Bubba. All cash donations can be sent directly to me: P.O. Box 370, Rosanky tx 78953. I can guarantee that all the money received will be well spent. ;)
