Metal marks on tile

I'm sure that someone out there has run into this before.

What do you guys use to get the grey/silver marks from aluminum straight edges off of gloss white tile?

I've tried acetone/laquer thinner/alcohol.... no luck

Soft scrub with a green scrub pad helps a little but, there has to be something
that is easier, as these marks appear with fairly light pressure of the straight edge to the wall to check for flatness.

The straight edges that I use are aluminum I believe.

Anyone run into this before?????:shrug:

I have had luck with rubbing dry cement or even grout on them.
