Hi, I have a walk in standup shower and as I started to remove old caulking where the wall tiles meet the floor tiles, I noticed that the grout had chipped away in a lot of places. Would it be okay, if I removed all of the grout and just applied caulking. There is not any grout in corners,just around the rest of floor.

Make sure you use 100% silicone caulk anything else will cause mold & mildew growth. GE brand is really good caulk.
