Hello all,
Sorry to waste ur time with what may be a silly question but I can't find a thread that tells what thinset I should use. I have a radiant floor heat (warmboard) that is cover with 1/2" hardi board (screwed and modified thinset) on top. I am putting down 12x12 ceramic tile (white) with 1x1 glass medallions. I want to know which is the best thinset to use. My concern is "lateral shear" that I've read about. Do I have a reason to be concerned about this? I currently have some versa bond left over from securing the hardiboard down. I bought it the versabond HD Homer told me too but past experiance tells me not to always listen to them. I have no problem with getting the right stuff because i don't want to fix this in the future (too big). thanks for y'ur help.
