Hello all
The grout lines in the kitchen is getting kind of stained and is not easy to clean them anymore.
So I decided to do an experiments on the grout lines of one of the tile to test a new idea of restoring the color. The result was impresive.

To renew the grouts, I used a latex paint and painted over the grout lines of one of the tile with a thin brush
I let it dry and then used "Parks Super Glaze" epoxy over the grout lines with a thin brush.
The final result after draying was a very shiny grout line as hard as glass.

To test and see if it is stain proof, I left a wet tea bag on it for a few hours and was able to clean it with just a wipe.

So my question is, should I continue with this and do the whole bathroom? Short term gave me an excellent result, long term, I don't know how the epoxy will behaves.

Please provide some guidance.

Super Glaze Pour-On Finish and Preservative is an ultra-thick, high gloss, crystal clear epoxy that provides maximum durability. It is ideal as a water proof finish for table and bar tops. Also it is great for crafts and refinishing furniture and can be used over almost any interior surface; from rough and unfinished to stained, painted, or smooth surfaces. It can finish bar tops, table tops, game boards, clocks, plaques, and ceramics. Also it preserves items by encasing them in Super Glaze pictures, fabric, coins, shells, etc. can be embedded with two applications of Super Glaze. A quart covers 6.4 square feet.
