Windshield scratched by scrubbie sponge

Hypothetically speaking.....

If someone grabbed the yellow/green sponge scrubbie and not the blue glass scrubbie....how might one remove scratches from a windshield. Hypothetically speaking, of course...... :rolleyes:

Just how bad is it? You might be able to buff it out. (I haven't read the article mentioned above yet so don't know whats recommended there) Maybe a buffing compound, I willl consult my DH carguy extraordinare! Not till am tho, he's sleepin'.;)

I have not polished glass but have polished a few different stones, and it can be very difficult.I may be trying to do my own windshield as it's scratched from crappy wipers and sand.But be careful and don't get too aggressive,and i would read a few different articles by some real glass guys before attempting.I have read different ways of doing it.:bow:
