Had a mild blow up yesterday at the hacienda here.Came home to find out my 16 year old son thought it was a good idea to get a tattoo without our consent.I spent 6 years in the Army and have none. After i blew up and cleared his room out of all lovelies,t.v. phone, computer, jewelry, and baggy ass pants, left him with a mattres on the floor, i tole him if he thought he was a man to get the Hell out.He disappeared last night. My oldest son is a deputy so we called him and he did a report. My wife asks what i'm gonna do/Wait till he comes home tomorrow....i ran away also as a teen,,,,for a day.He comes home today walks in and says...I found out i'm not a man, what's for supper?

Good job, Dave. You should have busted him in the back of the head for that foolishness. Im 23 and Im not mature enough to get a tat. Though the thought of two crossed margin trowels on my arm is neat...
Are you gonna make him get rid of it?
That's cruel, you even took his "baggy ass pants".:D

Dave
Would it not have been a better idea to have made him remove it? Would have been quite the painful lesson.

No....no....it's like when you're caught smoking and your dad makes you go inna closet and smoke a whole pack before you can come back out. You shoulda given him a tattoo gun and not let him out of the closet until he was entirely tattooed. That woulda learned him!

That reminds me of a wild Ambulance call that I was on years ago...We got called for a young "adult"male who was at his residence, he was "injured" bleeding and intoxicated. Law Enforcement was enroute...
So we arrive on scene after Law clears it for us to enter, walk in to find a beast of a dog (who was himself quite upset) being restrained by Law, the officers point to a back area and tell us "he's back there", go on in -its safe.
Walked into this workshop that wreaked of alcohol and there was blood EVERYWHERE! All over the walls, floor, ceiling, and of course all over the guy (who was prob. 21 or so). He's crying and screaming and totally drunk, he had consumed about a quart or more of Vodka, mixed w/ a small amt. of OJ, and an unknown # of beers, and was telling us how much he wanted to go into the Army, but they wouldn't take him because of the POT LEAF TATTOO that was on his forearm. So, he "anesthetized" himself and tryed to remove it with his BELT SANDER!! Unfortunately, he totally missed his Tat and removed about 1/2 his forearm all around it!:bonk::stupid2:

Dave - stories like that scare me - I have girls about that age that have asked about getting piercings - belly button, nose, lip - so far I have instilled enough fear to keep the subject from coming up too often. It doesn't make it any easier when a couple of their aunts or older family friends - 40yrs + single women - show off their piercings to my daughters.
