Anybody else got this? I have had problems for a long time,it won't go away, and i can't stop troweling of course.Maybe i'll get one of those goofy looking elbow bands the geezers at the tennis camps wear. And the matching sweatband of course.:D

No problems with the elbow but other aches and pains forced me to learn to use the other hand. I was amazed at how fast I became ambidextrous. When it came to troweling, that is.

Dave, you need to fish more. Casting takes care of it. :yeah:

When I get to riding my BMX bike and jumping a bunch my tennis elbow gets insane bad. Only thing that helps is rest.

What a drag it is getting older.........

I usually get it from grouting. Wiping the floor over and over all day.

Or, in his case, trying to catch the fishes.

Anyone else notice that MMike's solution to most every kinda problem involves fishin' and drinkin' beer? :D

Dave, your not used to working like you used to :D

I have known a few guys who would get so upset if they had a couple of days off (even Saturday) because their body would get too sore when they started working again.

When they worked all the time and steady they had less pain but I guess that would just catch up to you one day as well.

I've always attributed my tennis elbow with lifting and pouring thinset into the bucket. One of the reasons I love the lightweight mortars.

You know what really used to get my elbow> Mixing thinset and grout with my margin trowel and a bucket because i didn't have a clean mixing paddle, that really used to hurt, but i did it contantly...i must really be smart.:D
