Why is our president getting so much airwaves?
All I wanted to do was watch the football game on ESPN and first there's a message from Obama. Why?
I click on the weather channel, and guess what, when I click off there's a message from Obama about going back to school. Enough is enough. Is this the old Russia where the next thing is wherever we go they'll be pictures on buildings of Obama.
Right now, as much as I'd like to watch the Jet game, I'm not watching ESPN.
Just my rant for the night. I've had a tough evening and this is the final straw.

Hi Kate.............
I'm sorry for the political intrusion...... and I feal the pain.
I understand that this is (will become) the method used by those in political power to gain mass attention to current messages..... messages "THEY" deam to be of import.
I wonder what FF would say?

Unfortunatly, FF is not aware of what is going on. Sad, but true.

How about our buddy Brett Favre?
Until he retires, really retires, he's my hero. Just love them eyes. So intense, so focused, besdes being one devil of a QB.
I root for him, and I just like him. He is one terrific QB.
Go Brett, go.

The news wants Obama. I don't think he's looking for it more than some recent presidents.
He certainly didn't ask for that Peace prize.

So why was he speaking before the football game on ESPN?
When I turn on a sports event, that's what I want to see, a sports event. Not some politician (and that's what I think of him ) who happens to be the president of this Great Country.
The more he"s in my face, the more I dislike him.

Ya know Kate I'm not much on politics. I subscribe to the " if their lips are moving..they're lying" school of thought.
I was sitting at a local establishment tonite eating a chicken fried steak and a tall glass of water when the prez came on. What the .....?
I'm with you. I don't care if it's Obama, McCain, etc...can't a man just watch the cheerleaders...um I mean football w/o it being a partisan event :stirpot:

The more he"s in my face, the more I dislike him. and that is the good news, Kate. You aren't alone. Even the Left is starting to wonder when enough is enough. Obama - like any hardcore narcissist - is too dense to see it.

Jason, you know darn well that you're only interested in the cheerleaders! :D
I don't have any worries when it comes to television because I mainly use it for watching my mini-series and movies we order from Netflix. No president watching or any type of watching for moi. Matter fixed!
