ok I was in the home depot this am. trying to mind my own bussiness when a guy gets in the tile isle loading up durock and tile and then yep you guessed it 3 tubs of cirlce weirdness. there was a home depot employee in the isle as well. i looked the guy in the face and said do you know satan is in that circle. he looked at me like i was crazy. problem is i am. i continued to tell him satan in a circle would make all his tiles fall off in 3 weeks . he needed to use thinset to set his tile. needless to say the home depot gfuy was not impressed with me by far. he asked what i do for a living i told him straight in the face i go thru graveyards counting the people that satan killed from mold and falling tiles. that guy then proceeded to foloow me thru the store for about an hour and trust me if i didnt have some place to go i would stayed all day just to mess with his head.

I tend to ignore things like that which go on at the big box stores. It isn't worth your time and energy and unless you want to be in the convincing business in which case be prepared for lots of rejection.

Next time IF YOU SO MUST just tell whoever that it is not such a great idea to use whatever for whatever reason and walk away. If they want to know more make them pry it out of you. As far as I'm concerned if you have nothing to gain from it don't pay any attention to what goes on at HD.

Mastic is always gonna be around so get used to it. Whether you know it or not situations like this only rob you of your time and energy. Get into HD and get out that is my advice :D

yeah i agree ben but the whole joke of satan is from schulterville seminar. but i do love to tease folks alot. hell what can they do to me ask me not to come back there is a homedepot on every corner here just about

Well that's is the whole point. You were at the seminar so you get the joke. Nobody else is gonna get the joke. I don't mind being a little crazy myself but I just don't do it at HD :D

There is a lot of wierdos out there in the world today and as soon as you mention Satan is in a bucket and I work at HD I'm calling security because we may just have a crazy lune gunman in the building.

man i have had the police called on me a few times trust me on that one. but heck most of them know when they show up. yeah i agree dont want to be locked up before i get my kerdi cherry popped. kinda hard to set tile in a 8x6 concrete room

yeah well It just amazing me that the new TILE setters of today. belive that this bucket of butter will fix anything. So do I try and make them nervous yes . I could do something better and buy it all up thru the us . and then we all could sleep at nite knowing it has been bought out and locked up. trust me I have done some stupid things thru the years by far but I am perfectly sane at time just not around a tub of that stuff. I think it omits a smell and that makes ya crazy.
