hey everyone -

I wanted to pass on the following message from a book source that I use often...Repat - there is some interesting Roman stuff there for you. John - there may actually be a book about The American Revolutionary period that may be new to you. In fact, I saw a book entitled "Britain and France at the founding of America" (something like that)
As you can see there is a sale - worth a look.
happy friday - have a great weekend!

Dear Linda Fahey ,

After years of piling them up in various parts of our warehouse, we have decided to do something with the books we have in our inventory which are slightly damaged.
That “something” is to offer them at greatly reduced prices to our customers and we now have all these books logged on our website.
You can see the full range of imperfect books by visiting:
http://www.oxbowbooks.com/damaged.cfm?
then pick a topic and see what we have.
We have not set prices for these copies because there are so many degrees of imperfection on offer. Some books are barely damaged at all, but have been returned to us by booksellers and are a little bumped or scuffed. Others are a little sorrier.
So, we are asking customes to call us, toll-free, or e-mail my excellent colleague, Jim, and we will describe the damage and quote you an irresistible price (at least 40% off the list price, often more).
This feature will be a permanent fixture on our website and, sadly, we get new damages in every day, so it is always worth looking at what we have on offer.
Enjoy shopping!
With regards,

Ian Stevens
