Few weeks ago, had someone tile a mudroom.
Yesterday when I mopped the floor, I noticed the grout had gotten very dark (wet), and this morning, back to normal color.
Does this mean my grout was not sealed (or not sealed enough)?

I don' t know what kind of sealer he may have used.
If I need to seal it again, what kind should I use?( Polyblend grout, unsanded, unglazed ceramic tile.)

Possibly, or it was a cheap sealer or he didn't put enough on.You could always do it again with an impregnating sealer of your choice.

What is a mudroom?

The nice lady at the take out Chinese place has said that word a few times when she asked if I wanted it on my food.

And what Dave said......................

it's the room from the garage that leads to the kitchen, washer/dryer in there...

I guess you take off your muddy shoes there so you don't track them thru the house.

OK, being from Florida my whole life, I have never heard it called that. We have sand here. I think the Chinese lady was referring to mushroom/s.

Well did you have any other question about the sealing of the grout?

Generally, you need to wait a few days for the grout to cure before sealing. So, unless your tile guy came back, probably not sealed. I've worked a number of years as an installer and have never sealed a customer's grout. But its a fairly simple task.
