First post . . .

We grouted our kitchen floor with Hydroment sanded grout in "Brick". It dried several shades too light. It is more "pink/salmon" than brick color. From everything I have read, it seams like grout colorant may be my best solution. I have looked at the Aquamix color chart online, and "Cinnamon" looks like it may be the best match. After seeing the tile in the room, I definetly want something darker, and also a more "brownish/brick" color, with less red in the mix. Any feedback? Does this sound like a good fix? Bad fix? Is there a better solution? I am a novice at this, and any advise will be appreciated.

Sonya, grout colorants are a great fix to the problem. Additionally, the colorant is also a sealer and will guard your grout against almost all stains. It is a topical product and when applied correctly, will protect your grout for years to come. If you are concerned with being able to do this correctly yourself, contact a local hard surface cleaning company for assistance. They have professional products and some offer up to 15 year guarantee on the installation.

I can tell you from experience, the aquamix can be difficult to apply and clean up correctly. The ease of installation can be difficult as well depending on the grout height and joint width.
