I actually just finished watching pitchmen when my wife came out and told me. It does suck, that's actually a pretty decent show to watch. Some of the things people come up with I can't even put into words. Billy made no qualms about telling someone they were out of their mind. :D

Remember that actress that died recently after a small skiing accident?
Didn't seem like much at the time.... and then.
Maybe Ron Popiel put out a hit on him.

Strange you mention that G. My exgirlfriend and I were furnature shopping a while back and she bent over to look at a piece of furniature and when she lifted her head back up she wacked it on a drawyer pulled out.
She felt naucious that night so we had a cat scan done the next day and they found a tumor on the back of her head where the spinal cord connects or something in that area.

Medical examiner: Billy Mays had heart disease
TAMPA (AP) — A Florida medical examiner says television pitchman Billy Mays likely died of a heart attack but further tests are needed.
Hillsborough County Medical Examiner Vernard Adams said Monday the boisterous, bearded 50-year-old known for hawking Oxiclean suffered from hypertensive heart disease. He was found dead Sunday in his Tampa home. A day earlier he bumped his head during a rough landing on a commercial airliner, but Adams says there there was no evidence of head trauma.
He says Mays was taking the prescription painkillers Tramadol and hydrocodone for hip pain. But Adams says there was no indication of drug abuse, and pill counts showed Mays had been taking the correct amount of the drugs.

This is a sad day.
I watched the first episode of Pitchmen and really dug what Billy Mays did.
He took a lot of average Joe's and was responsible for making them millionaires in a matter of months.
He was a good guy and it's tough to see him gone.

I must say, I'm feeling a bit guilty at Mays passing. Every time his annoying commercials would come on, I would wish for him to go away. I would have preferred retirement.

Autopsy: Cocaine contributed to Billy Mays' death
TAMPA, Fla. (AP) -- An official autopsy report released Friday found that cocaine use contributed to the heart disease that suddenly killed TV pitchman Billy Mays in June, but his family called the finding "speculative" and was considering getting an independent look at the results.
The Hillsborough County medical examiner's office previously determined that the bearded, boisterous TV spokesman had a heart attack in his sleep. His wife found him unresponsive in bed in their Tampa condo June 28.
Mays, 50, was a pop-culture fixture with his energetic commercials pitching gadgets and cleaning products like Orange Glo and OxiClean.

"Hey folks look at this straightjacket i had made out of shamwow, I totally wet myself but you'd never know it thanks to german engineering, I mean hey moms, why buy pampers when you can use shamwow over and over . . . nerp"

Pooky- yer killin' me! ROFL.
.
I don't know if it's bad news really Brian. Just news and not really a surprise.
Billy Mays was a good guy.
Helped inventors realize their dreams and make some money.
Some jazzed up guy on my TV screen dies with coke in system - not bad news.
Finding out the priest at your church who is supposed to be a step closer to God than you and a role model in your life is molesting your 7 year old son - bad news.
Don't mix the trivial with the non-trivial things.
