I'm happy for ya, Jeff. I've already burned my twins out. Neither one of them will have anything to do with me now. They work, but not for me. ;)
How does your wife feel about twins? Patti broke down crying when she came out of the ultra sound. I thought she had lost the baby or something. She shows me this polaroid with some unrecognizable stuff on it and pointing at it says, "Don't you see it?"
"See what?"
"There's TWO of them."
"Two what?"
"Two BABIES!"
"Oh."
"OH!"

Congrats on joining the elite club of multiple parenthood! :D :D It's a very special something that singleton parents will never understand (singleton--that's just a fancy word [think of it like a password] we multiple families use for how most babies are born--one at a time). DH and I went a little farther and had 'em three at a time. ;) ;) ;) It's all good--no matter how many or how few! I wish you, your wife, and those precious babies health, happiness, rest, and God's blessings!
John, I don't think I knew that you and Patti had a pair of twins of your own. Hmmm, you learn something new everyday!

The hardest thing about twins is trying to pick them up when theyre both crying and needing comfort.
Okay...got ONE...now if I can just scoop my hand under the OTHER...whoops...let's try that again! Tricky to do!

Ours were premies. One weighed 2- 1/2 lbs. and the other 4. I could scoop both of 'em up in one hand. :)

California ain't bad. Scooter likes it. He's voting for Arnie, you know. ;)
And Karen, of course, and . . . . hey, I used to live there. Spent a year in L.A. and three in the San Diego area. :)

CONGRADULATIONS!!!!!!!!
That's wonderful, two healthy full weight babies. You are really
blessed. You'll be able to take the babies home with you!
I was totally unprepared when they told me I was carrying two,
but by the time we got home from having the ultra sound, we
were pretty excited.
The first five or six months are pretty exhausting, but after that,
it gets easier and easier and really is a wonderful experience.
Such exciting news.....congradulations again :D :yipee:

Jeff,
As far as I'm concerned, that's a pretty shallow excuse, boy. :D
I'll be around next year too. I'm very happy for you and your wife. I don't think there's anything better than twins as far as kids go. :) They entertain each other after a while. Our boys don't even look like they're in the same family, but they're very close to each other. :)

Muy magnifico, hombre!!
I think someone already mentioned...get all the rest you can--whenever you can.;)
But, the real joy is still in front of you. It is watching them turn into real people...and it happens so quick!
Best wishes....you are truly blessed!:)
