Just got back into the office to be greeted by the sound of hammer drills emanating from one of the bathrooms.

Receptionist head down asleep, or so I thought. She looked up and I enquired whether she had been snoring again? (running joke in office). Her response:

"How can you sleep when everyone is banging around you." She stopped, thought about what she had just said and dissolved in giggles. Maxima is Indian.

Don't you just love how simple it is to communicate with this wunnerful lingua franca of ours?:)

Jeremy,
Don't know if you have heard of the late Max Miller, but he was the master of the double meaning jokes.Use to have a couple of his albums at one time.

Same thing Redd Foxx and Benny Hill would.

Health nuts are going to feel stupid someday, lying in hospitals dying of nothing.

I for one am concerned about the current condition of the language. Doing away with the masculine possesives is a disaster in my opinion. To each "their" own, I guess. ;)
