Analysts blame todays stock market drop on concerns about rising unemployment.
Companies concerned about thir falling stock price are laying off workers and exporting WHITE COLLAR jobs overseas in order to improve their bottom line thereby increasing their stock price.

A tad off topic but relevent in bits.
I was recently asked by a Texan how I would describe what it is I do. My response was that I deal in Virtual Reality.
People execute contracts and prosecute the works thereby, eventually getting paid and overall creating a record of one form or another.
Then i turn up and make the record mean something entirely different. (see previous references to bayonetting the wounded and robbing the dead). I take realty and make it mean virtually anything.
Ditto the "analysts", but I flatly refuse to allow them to usurp the primacy of my position.
L,
tell your boss to kick the guys keester out the door. Had he been a real tiler he woulda taken the job and continued to claim the unemployment benefit:D

Well, according to the Houston Chronicle this morning, the market's woes are attributable to the car bombing in Indonesia. So who's got it right?
I think we construction hands have it made, maybe. They cannot export our jobs to countries where labor is cheap.
What they do is import cheap labor to do our jobs over here. :D

That sort of keeps the economy in balance doesn't it JB? Exporting our jobs is balanced by importing cheap labor.;)

Y'all miss da big picher. JB almost caught it. Reverse engineering.
All car bombs must, when analyzed, benefit the construction industry (and the morticians).
Since death isn't always assured but destruction is, it stands therefore and logic indicates that the construction industry is responsible for all car bombings, provided we accept that the ends justify the means.
Everyone knows that the construction industry is a baseline economic indicator. Housing starts are routinely quoted as an economic bell-weather.
So what we need are more car bombs, not fewer, and the only people to lose are the blood suckers in the insurance industry.
How can I say this with such conviction? I'm an analyst!
Kindly note that the only part of the word analyst that you need pay attention to are the first four letters!

Jeremy,
Do you remember the song ? -
Oh Brixton in the sun, gave to me by the English Man,
All day long I will sing in praise
Of the Underground and British Railways.
Or Wimpey [ the large construction company] stood for?
We Import More Paddies Every Year.
[No offence intentional]
This the same that happened in England years ago nobody wanted to work on the trains, buses, or in the more menial jobs, then when work got tight the immigrants got the blame for taking jobs [that nobody wanted] stopping them from getting a job
