Got a bug up my butt last night and had a whole long post ready to roll and lost the whole thing! :(

I was thinkin'. (dangerous sometimes...I know!) There's so many of us on here that seem enamoured with tools and such. Think there might be a place for such a spot so's we could discuss who makes the best whatsit and widget? I think there'd be folks interested in the oh pin yuns of such a well bred and knowledgeable crew as is known to frequent this little corner of the net.

On that note I'll enclose a recent pic that is a result of a busy weekend of shavings! Success at last! :D

Modern Art! It's CULTCHA HUNNY! Just shut up and learn to appreciate ART damn it! ;)

Mmmmm, you makin' that up, flatfloor? I see what appears to be parts of one or more spirit levels, mostly the vials, pewt together kinda like that artist fella the never could get the nose or the eyes inna right place on his pichers. You know the one, ol'..........whatsisname. Vince something.

Plus some geometric white spaces strategically spaced inna middle.

What's it s'posed to look like, Linda Bob? :confused:

That level's not level. Why's the little air bubble in the middle? Did somebody glue it there, or is this some sort of cruel Photoshop trick?:bang:

We really need for you to stop drinking so much of that stuff. I know all the guys around here do it, but when it starts to be a problem for you like that...............:p

It's been a while since I've checked in, so I may be missing a bit of history on this. I can certainly see that it is a spirit level, but OK young lady, what is this bubble adorning anyway? Crown molding, chair rail, wainscot?

I can also see that the editorial standards have slipped a bit as well. Makes me want to go read Huck Finn again, or watch the Beverly Hillbillies... ;)

Well ya SEE Paul...I've been sweatin' my butt of tearin out a floor...puttin' in joists...planing not so planed old joists and such.

Just to get to LEVEL!

So ya see...it's celebration of sorts. (for me that is) And what with me bein' the artsy fartsy type and all I jus' figured I'd show off my grand progress with a piece a mod-airn ART! ;)
