First of all, let me say that I'm a cat lover....make no apologies for that. We have four from the same litter. Scarlotte was the matriarch of the bunch....never saw a lap she didn't like. Only 14 years old....Why didn't they tell me there was a "shelf life" on these critters? Five days with liver problems and she passed this AM. Buried her this afternoon, and I'm really down. She was a Norwegian Forest Cat and I'll miss her ....

No shame, Laz. Sorry for your loss.

I like cats too. We haven't replaced the one we lost after having it the first 17 years my wife and I were married. I had the vet come to the house to put him down; seemed like the least traumatic way to go.

Scarlotte was a pretty baby she was, Laz.

Most cats I've known have been better company than some people I've known.

Replace her when your ready, Laz.

Sorry to hear that. We lost 4 pets last year and are now going to see what living pet free is like for a while. I don't miss the liter box scooping, but I'm no longer generating those nice square kitty litter pails.

If there's a kitty heaven there's lots of slow mice there.

So sorry about your loss. That was one fine kitty. Loved the pictures of her in the bowl. We are down to one cat and one dog. Really hate the thought of losing either one.

Sorry Laz. Also a cat family here, don't want to think about the day they're no longer around.

Sorry Laz. We have one cat who is up there in age and I am terrified of that day coming.

It doesn't matter if you're a cat person or not. It's terrible to have lost your family member. I'm so sorry that you've lost your furry friend.
