Profitable Day!

Pulled my purdy black Honda into a parking lot today, I did. Looked out the window...and what did I see but a green piece of paper that looked an awful lot like money, it did. There was a big biker lookin' guy walkin' through the lot so I jumped outa my car and grabbed the green paper.

It was a hunerd dollar bill!!! I kid you not!!! That stuff NEVER happens to me! :D

I asked the biker guy if he had lost anything. Wasn't dumb enough to ask if he'd lost a hunerd dollars. "Nope" he said...and just kept walkin'....a 911 memorial bandana wrapped around his bald head and his leather vest covered with verteran patches and such.

No cars..no stores...no nothin' but me and a hunerd dollar bill and the black top! Now don't that beat all!??? Put a smile on my face it did!

And all I stopped to do was to rest a spell, make a couple cell phone calls, drink a little water and do a little paper work.

That kinda made my day! :D

Did I mention...that kinda thing NEVER happens to me! :D

Hey, it's weird because I lost a C-note (a Finn is a fiver) in (likely) my Home Depot just last week. They were very thorough in checking out-going registers, even told me I was welcome to view the video exchange between myself and the cashier. I was impressed to the point that I had to admit to lapses of attention and it was I guess possible that I had given the clerk at the 7-11 $100 instead of $1 for a banana that morning. Still, they took it seriously and that really left a uhh was it a mark? aa a scar? a... well, I liked the way they handled it... very professional. I just got stupid and dropped one somewhere.... wasn't there an updraft from central TX to NW that day???
