What should I use on my 13" and 7" porcelain tile? Every time I wash the floor all these beautiful colors come out and it looks fantastic but when it dries the color just fades away back to bland. I'm not necessarily going for the wet look I'd just like to have the color there all the time.

At the same time I think its time to seal the grout too. Right now its medium grey- but again every time I wash the floor I like the grout color better because it turns into a dark grey. You can see what I mean in these pics. Sorry I don't have a shot of the grout when its dry but man what a difference a little water makes on the tile!

Any advice for me? THanks!!

We've been through this before and to my knowledge noone has come up with a solid very little maintenance product to achieve this.I haven't done any trials myself like i said i would, and should, but i believe it would be a hassle to coat tough porcelain with any sealers as they will wear and need maintenance.Maybe a good cleaning using a wetvac to remove all gunk may leave you with a nicer floor.I ammend my post. Some people are using a product called Tile Glow from International Stoneworks, but it needs to be burnished on with a high speed buffer and a hogs hair pad,not for the diyer.

I read the website and came to the conclusion that its not worth the headache to use their products. I really don't feel like taping off adjacent surfaces so the product can whip around my kitchen under the weight of a 135lb buffer.

My tile isn't discolored or damaged in any way. Just trying to enhance the color as the pictures show.

Thanks for the tip though, much appreciated.

Perhaps someone out there has wanted to do this before?

i think what dave was saying is that many people have wanted the same thing you do but the problem is that your tiles have about a half precent absorbsion rate and stone enhancers don't work on your product. the good thing about your tile is its tuff to stain, the bad thing is it doesn't accept sealers well
