Just completed a large kitchen area with 2'x2' rectified edge tile. everyone was very happy(builder, architect, designer). Because it was a glazed tile, i did not bother to seal it before grouting. we cleaned the floor very well. only after the floor completely dries, tiny pits filled with residue become apparent. Cleaned with a light vinegar solution and I called the laticrete rep. he said to wait 10 days, then use sulfamic acid and the grout should release from the small holes. I believe the tile is somwhere around $15 a sq ft. Please Help!!!!!

Dave ,They recomended letting the sulfamic acid solutin on the for 20 min in order for it to realy work. What kind of buffer did you use?

Just a regular buffer you can rent one at HD.20 minutes may be a little long, might etch the tiles. You will have to trial and error this a little to find the right time and right method with the pads or brushes,a wetvac helps a lot, and don't forget to rinse.
