Happy holidays all!

I forgot a quart of Stonetech heavy duty grout sealer in my van last week, it froze solid.

Label says do not freeze.

Trash it? or would it still be good for something like pre-sealing slate?

don't want to throw it away if I don't have to, more because it's expensive to dispose of chemicals than because of the money wasted.

I'd trash it.

Matt
Until I had tested it on a piece of slate I wouldn't get rid of it. Might be a perfect pre sealer just as you mentioned

Hi Matt -

We get a lot of calls this time of year about frozen products. A single freeze does not seems to produce any detrimental effects. what will produce problems is if it goes through freeze/thaw multiple times... it may separate and not return to an even looking liquid with a simple shaking of the bottle.
Let it thaw, give it a shake, pour some out in a glass jar and let it sit for a little while. If it doesn't separate it should be fine.
