Anybody else notice the non-stop smoking in todays movies?What is goin on, in a state where it is virtually a capital offense they sell it like candy over the air waves. :bow:

The hypocrisy is astounding.

The Hollywood left is adamantly against smoking and gun rights, but what do you see in much of the films that come out of Hollywood? Smoking and guns. (And smoking guns :D)

Since manufacturers cannot advertise or sponsor anywhere anymore, i guess they are trying to sneak in product placement where ever they can.

Our son is in the production end of the movie business. Every brand name you see in a movie is there because the company paid for it. I'm sure the movie industry gets big bucks from the tobacco companies to have lots of smoking visible.

have you noticed the phones in some movies have the name of the provider all over it.
even the signs that show up in the backgrounds of some movies are placed there for advertising.
