Happy Thanksgiving to all.
And for the thousands of emails I got reminding to post my stuffed turkey recipe here it is. :)
BAKED STUFFED TURKEY
20-25 lb. Turkey
1 cup melted butter
1 cup stuffing (Pepperidge Farm is good.)
1 cup uncooked popcorn
(ORVILLE REDENBACHER'S LOW FAT)
Salt/pepper to taste
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Brush turkey well with melted butter, salt, and pepper. Fill cavity with stuffing and popcorn.
Place in baking pan with the neck end toward the back of the oven.
Listen for the popping sounds.
When the turkey's ass blows the oven door open and the turkey flies across the room, it is done

While driving today to a customers house we saw a couple of wild Turkeys wading in the shallow side of the river.
I think they were pretending to be Fish :)
We got so confused with the sight we decided to have Duck instead :)
Happy Fish/Turkey day all!!

Don't let your wife read this threads Greg.
She knows she can't cook, I love her anyways. Maybe "terrible" was too harsh.:D
I always invite her to visit the JBF, but alas, she doesn't.

Happy Belated Thanksgiving to all my friends on the JB Forum.
It was a busy day. I visited my Father at the Nursing Home where he resides. It was a good visit as he was having a good day.
Next I traveled to Brooklyn and spent the rest of the day with my son ( who just got home from the hospital ), his fiance and her family. I also was on the phone with my grandchildren, something that does not happen often enough.
I had plenty to be thankful for. :) :)
Dinner was good too. :)

A little Thanksgiving story.
An atheist was walking through the woods.
"What majestic trees"!
"What powerful rivers"!
"What beautiful animals"!
He said to himself.
As he was walking alongside the river, he heard a rustling in the bushes behind him.
He turned to look. He saw a 7-foot grizzly bear charge towards him.

Part 2
He ran as fast as he could up the path. He looked over his shoulder & saw that the bear was closing in on him.
He looked over his shoulder again, & the bear was even closer. He tripped & fell on the ground. He rolled over to pick himself up but saw that the bear was right on top of him, reaching for him with his left paw & raising his right paw to strike him.

Part 3
At that instant the Atheist cried out, "Oh my God!"
Time Stopped.
The bear froze.
The forest was silent.
As a bright light shone upon the man, a voice came out of the sky. "You deny my existence for all these years, teach others I don't exist and even credit creation to cosmic accident." "Do you expect me to help you out of this predicament? Am I to count you as a believer"?
The atheist looked directly into the light, "It would be hypocritical of me to suddenly ask you to treat me as a Christian now, but perhaps you could make the BEAR a Christian"?
"Very Well," said the voice.
The light went out. The sounds of the forest resumed. And the bear dropped his right paw, brought both paws together, bowed his head & spoke:

"Lord bless this food, which I am about to receive from thy bounty through Christ our Lord, Amen."
The End
HAPPY THANKSGIVING !!
