Do you ever search a passed thread for info and wonder what happened to some of the past posters? You look on the last login and its been six months a year, or even longer. Did someone piss them off or did they go out of business?

People come, and people go. Some return, and some don't. I imagine some of them discover there is life beyond the John Bridge Forums. We are happy to have made their acquaintance, treasure the time we've spent together and hope to see them again someday. In the meantime, there are new people to meet and new places to go. :)

Jeremy was far from being "left wing". He's a anglo British national, living and working in Kuwait, with an Iraqi wife. His perspective is very different from ours here in the continental United States, but it does not correspond at all to our political spectrum. That he was critical of United States foreign policy also does not qualify him as "left wing". It's a great big world out there and it's populated with as many valid opinions as there are Hindu deities or grains of sand in all of the oceans (whichever is greater).
Last I recall, his work load was increasing, he had just had a bout with cancer and he might have taken on another small dog (ask Marge on that). Mayhaps he got tired of being insulted and found someplace else to share his immense engineering knowledge?

Ms. CamiA was a most pleasant and useful member of this outfit and I, for one, still miss her. I think we each had a theory about why she left, but I don't believe anyone actually knows why.

Onliest good thing about her being gone is that if she and Ms. Cute Thing Call Me Marge The Hostess were here at the same time the place wouldn't be safe for not none of the rest of the staff. :D
