In the winter, I'm addicted to yahoo games- esp. their version of Scrabble- Literati. Haven't been there since spring- come on, November! (our town shuts down for the winter...it's a strange life, I know...)

I dunno Bud I really don't stay up on the latest games, I only started playing that one because I could walk around in 3-D and shoot real people with neat guns with stratagy. These games today when played on fast computers are so realistic and fun they are nothing compared to play station type games.

Online scrabble sounds like fun..do they have chess?..I could get into that. Anyone wanna try challenge me.

Got a link Cami?

Here ya go, JC- Scrabble, chess, bunches of other fun stuff. You will need to get a yahoo e-mail and sign up for their IM to play the interactive ones, but you can opt out of all their mailings and spam when you sign up.

I am addicted to Free Cell loaded in the "games" portion of the the desktop. I confided this to Kelly, and he just laughed .

Someone send him an email and tell him where it is in the computer so he'll get hooked, too.

uhhhh, yeah, freecell. Don't tell him. There's already not enough time in the day...Don't tell him about pyramids on yahoo, either. Or any of those other things that suck the hours out of the day...

Where can I find Tetris? One of my friends who lived with me before I got married had it on his computer. We used to fight to see who could get on to play.

This was in '93, so I don't know if Tetris is still around.

Kelly don't WANT to know.

Kelly won't read the post if y'all pewt them urls on there.

Kelly won't play them games if he accidental like sees the urls.

Kelly spends too much time on the confuser as it is.

Trust me on this one.

(someone what knows Kelly)

Kelly won't try once? Not even JUST ONCE? That damn Free Cell is like computer crack. I'm gonna sign off and play just ONE MORE TIME.

OK- I'm gonna try to post this again. I think the first time everything got lost in the move.

The original tetris can be found at http://www.mit.edu/people/nathanw/java/Tetris.html

And other goodies, like euchre for us northerners, tons of card games, an addictive game called bejeweled (not as sissy as it sounds), fantasy football, basketball, etc...

There's also some kid's games, too, for other parents and (dare I say it) grandparents.

As for kelly/cx, don't you have another alter ego that we can suck into the vortex of online games? Woodbutcher, or something like that? :D

your local computer crack dealer...

That Tetris seems a bit different from the version we used to play.

What other message boards are you haunting?

Um...let's see...I'm at That Home Site! and Today's Homeowner under another, considerably more anon., name. Got here through twelvepole's link from one of those. Occasionally check DIY.com (see a few of you over there!). I also read a couple of professional boards that I enjoy- JLC (lots of your posts over there, too!), Heating Help (for designing the radiant system DH is installing), Paintstore Phorum, and the Fine Homebuilding BB, which I post to occasionally. Jeez, I need to get a life...I just like the BB's 'cause I can zip in and out in slow periods at work. And you thought I was just kidding....

Just as long as we are your favorite board...

Well, I like to think that out of the whole bunch, our boards are, shall we say, more "colorful."

There's one thing for sure. We cover more topics than anyone else. I don't know how we rate in the technical department ...

Cami,

I was asked to leave the JLC Tile Board by my friend M.B. The guy doesn't see a lot of humor in my antiquated (cave man) approach to modern tile setting.

Yes, guys, I have to admit you are a colorful bunch! As for MB, well, ummmm, he has some opinions he's not afraid to state. This board is a lot more fun. I wouldn't dream of asking a question on JLC- it's been made clear that it isn't for the DIYer! Thanks for letting all of us ask questions- everyone's knowledge (and varying opinions..) is truly appreciated!

Cami, you have waaaaaaaay too much time on your hands, now that the Touristas are gone. You have to do something to keep you occupied. How about Moose races? Those sites are too funny! http://www.unknown553.f2s.com/YaBBImages/smilies/roflmao.gif

Rob, Bud try the K-rated for the kids, Kathleen caught me at it and now I have work to do.
