Firearms ownership and my independence of CHOICE on EVERYTHING is too important to me.
I could never be a socialist

Firearms ownership and my independence of CHOICE on EVERYTHING is too important to me.Most people are pretty much for their own liberty. The tough part is standing for the liberty of your neighbors.

And the lies continue, eh?
NoBama claims to support 2nd amendment rights. With a record like that, that is just plain old fashioned LYING.
Trouble is, most of the leftist, Marxist, whacko, true believin', kool aid drinkin', fellow travelers, buy into his brand of gun grabbing mania.:shake:

Surely we can find a more compelling issue than the 2nd amendment on which to oppose Obama. I don't know about the rest of you, but I can promise you that the next president - no matter who it is - will have no bearing on my gun ownership status.:shades:

The fact is that the Democratic National Platform recognizes an individual right to keep and bear arms (much clearer than the final decision in the Heller case). The Democrats are no threat to gun ownership. However, the police state tendencies of the Bush administration and the support for most of those measures by McCain should be of great concern to anyone who cares about the first and fourth amendments.
No administration has done as much damage to the US Constitution as the Bush Administration.
You need to go a long, long way to top Lincoln, Mike. :shades:

Nice try Mike (not really).
The vast majority of gun grabbing liberals are DEMOCRATS.
Bush damaged the 2nd amendment exactly how? Maybe like when he let the ban on "assault weapons" expire? Yeah, that was a real blow to gun rights.
The Democrats are no threat to gun ownership.
You mean like when Obama wanted to ban gun stores within five miles of schools and parks? Effectively eliminating gun stores.
You cannot be serious.

CX,
Obviously has done some homework.....
Gives me hope.
It looks SO much like a one party system anymore, just a bit different slant on how your future will be squandered.
Awesome CX, keep it up!
