Charity Auction

A friend of mine from Alaska, Carrie, needs help. Her husband Bill is very ill and being treated in Seattle. This is an emotional as well as financial burden for them. Some of Carrie's Akita dog friends have gotten together to raise money by holding an online auction. I lost my sister to brain cancer last May and my father to leukemia this past March. I know what a painful struggle Carrie and Bill are going through. I hope you don't mind that I have posted the information here. I thought some of you might see something you'd be interested in and might want to bid on.

This auction is being held to help ease the financial burden facing our
fellow dog lovers Bill and Carrie Keays. Bill is in a hospital in
Seattle
Washington after a bone marrow transplant.
These are two wonderful people who could use a break and many generous
people
have brought you some lovely items to bid on while helping two of our
fellow
dog lovers.
We have some lovely akita items as well as regular items
from Porcelain dolls to beautiful shabby chic lamps and a custom
designed
website from wizards graphics and Louise Davie who was also kind enough
to donate
