Just wondering, alot of people recommend using a squeegee after showering for the tile walls. However, I never really liked that idea because it doesn't get all that water that is laying inside the grout lines. What I do it take my towel after I'm done drying off and completely wipe all the walls down. Takes 20 seconds withe a couple of swipes per wall, and that way it's completely dry. Any negatives to using a towel that I'm not thinking of?

I can't think of a better system, and I guarantee its 100 times more than the "average" shower owner does.

That's one less lecture on soapscum removal we'll need to give!

I was wondering how easily does mold & mildew grow in or on the grout lines in a tub/shower. & Is it necessary to wipe down or squegee (sp?) after each shower, b/c I know I could not get my husband to do that.

LOL! :lol1:
In my house, Kevin, you'd win a very special prize for doing such a thing.
If my husband reads this, perhaps he'll be compelled to try cleaning his bathroom so that he might find out what the prize is.

P.S. The prize is probably food. A cake, perhaps. With cream cheese frosting.

Funny, because in my house it;s the other way around. I have to fight with the wife to get her to do things like this. She thinks I'm just anal. I will say one thing, the bathroom is 6 months old and there is no sign of any mildew. In my old bathroom, when I would re-caulk, mold would show up within a couple months. Bottom line, if there is no water left there, hard for mold to grow :)
