gee----am I the only guy on the planet who was not aware of automobile train racing?

Three cars hooked together with towbars.

Front car has the only engine and only a throttle. Middle car empty-no driver, seat or engine. Rear car has a driver who only has a brake pedal, no throttle.

They race on the Irwindale soapy water covered figure eight course.

Maybe I''m sick or something but it looked like lots of fun!

Anyone seen this firsthand?

thats about as redneck as watching figure 8 school bus racing, lawnmower racing or demolition derby. :lol1:

You're talkin to a guy that lived on a pig farm and used a car hood as a bobsled.....but i still don't get it?Figure 8 schoolbusses,demolition derby,homemade firecrackers from shotgun shells,sure, but this is too slow and not dangerous enough for me. :lol1:
