Recently my bones have been acting like helpers, doing their own thing and being literally a pain in the rear end. Seems I have bad hip joints. 41 years of getting up and down have taken it's toll. So I've been looking around.

Having always kept busy in other things over the years, I got active w/ my wife in her insurance work. Been selling health insurance the last few months and the pay starts at zero and grows at about $300 per month at the third month. (000--000--300--600--900--1200--1500--1800--etc monthly).

Good, but I wanted some "now" money.

Looking for ways to more effectively use my time and came across an insurance company which really rewards professional sales folks.

Just went out on five of their leads. Picked up three sales. Net commission, $2175.

It is insurance, you need a laptop, state insurance license and gotta make a clean professional presentation. But the money is there.

I've got 20 years invested in this business and recently began a referral business so that I can get out of the physical part of contracting.

The health side is Blue Cross / Blue Shield and Aetna. The life insurance side is mortgage protection with a structured group of life companies for all risks.

Picked up $318 in commissions this AM and another later this afternoon.

With the mortgage protection leads we get, it is like hunting at the zoo.

My joints are finally happy!

Tom all I say is hang in there. My grandfather did the tile business for 43 years. He decided to become a over the road truck driver. He did that for 5 years ,now he's driving a bunch of snot nose brats to school, and he just turned 75.

Thankx Bruce,

A dear much older friend of mine who just passed told me many years ago retiring was when you put on four new tires and keep on going.

In recent years I stayed on my knees installing floors in part because my feet just would not work right. This past winter as my hips were giving out my feet were healed and now I am walking a few miles every day in the insurance business.

God always opens one door when another door is closing. Praise the Lord!
