I have read many thing about sealing polished tiles yes you can seal pre grout or seal later. Seal with and impregnator or just a stone sealer.
Well its good to be back been about a year since I started my bathroom many things have changed and have just started the project again.
I purchased stonetech bulletproof as I wanted a really great sealer.
Laticrete spectralok pro grout.
Should I seal before I grout or after?
Do I even need to seal the polished tiles?
Do I need to use an impregnator or can I sue the bulletproof?
Thanks for looking alot of questions I know but I want to do it right the first time!

Hi Mark - it would depend on the type of stone you have. Do you know the names of the stones you used? If not, pichers would be great to help identify them.
On second thoughts - pichers would be great anyway, even if you do know the stones.
Do I need to use an impregnator or can I sue the bulletproof?
As for sueing Bulletproof - why don't you at least wait to see if it works first :jack:
:D
As for sueing Bulletproof - why don't you at least wait to see if it works firstYeah, Mark, I gotta agree with Adriana on that part. Bulletproof is now a DuPont product and it's really expensive to sue them big companies these days. I'd wanna wait 'till you're sure you got a really good case. :D

Hi Mark -
Spectralok doesn't need to be sealed and I don't think presealing would help the clean up from Spectralok much.... There are others here who could answer that one better however.
If the tiles are polished marble or granite, they may not need very much sealer. BulletProof might be overkill... it is designed for porous materials and many polished stones are not really porous....
BulletProof is an impregnating sealer...impregnating sealer is just another way to say penetrating sealer...
.... and definitely take GraniteGirl's advice! :)

The granite does not need sealing. If you do seal the grout, be sure to totally wipe all sealer residue from the tiles, or you will end up with a streaky mess on the stone.
Does the marble get darker when it gets wet? If it does, it would need sealer. If not, don't worry too much.
