We installed black granite pebbles in the floor of a shower we are doing.

Before I could catch him, my helper used Aquamix sealers choice gold on the floor and some wall accents pre-grout.

I wanted to use (I think it's called) aquamix enrich and sealer to bring out the color.

Anyway, I went ahead and used the enrich/sealer on top of the sealers choice gold and it seemed to darken a little more still before grouting.

Now after grouting, the stones are looking dull again and I was going to hit them and the grout with enrich/sealer again.

I am wondering if there is something better I could be using in a shower at this point that would hold up better and keep the stones looking enhanced longer.

Thanks
Figaro

it is is black absolute it won't absorb much and sealing will be a waste,if it's something else it may work, i dunno, as far as is there a better sealer,i know there are sealers that claim to be the best, but i don't know myself. You might dab some Tenax Ager on the granite

It is not black absolute, the rocks/pebbles just look like river rock I'm calling black granite for lack of knowing what else to call them.

Thanks

Well, that's a whole different game, generally most believ a solvent enhancer works better than a water based, although after using a water based a couple times the solvent based may not even do anything.

Solvent vs. water. That totally makes sense. I just went with what was suggested. Aquamix enrich-n-seal is solvent based is it not?
It's a done deal now. We'll see how well it holds up....
