Hi all;

Does one cut holes in the plywood subfloor and install drywall prior to pouring SLC? What to use for expansion joints at room perimeter, and for dams around holes and door sill (will wood release if used ?)

The CBP MDS is a little short of detail...

Thanks for your advice!

Obviously, if possible, you might wait to cut any holes in the subfloor until after you pour. If holes are already there, then dam them up however best you can. Duct tape, cans or jars with caulking-- whatever it takes. As for expansion around the perimeter, you could use sill sealer, which is a foam about 6-7" wide and about 1/4" thick. Put that against the walls all the way around if you're going to pour it that thick where expansion might be a problem.
