After a couple of weeks, I have discovered that installer of tile backsplash when sealing backsplash ran side of roller along granite counter top leaving "kinda sitcky" residue of backsplash sealer on granite.
What product should I use to remove backsplash sealer off of granite? Should I reseal granite in places where I remove backsplash sealer?
Thank you so much for your advice and recommendations.

Hi Esquirette :)
Do you know what sealer was used on each of the surfaces? :shades:
It's possible that reapplying the same sealer over the roller marks, may remove the residue when buffed out. If not, I'd try using some acetone.
After the surface has dried, apply some water and see if the surface darkens or if the water beads. Depending on your results will determine whether or not the granite needs to be resealed. BTW, what type of granite do you have? Some don't need to be sealed at all.

John,
Thanks so much for the quick response. I know the sealer was penetrating and I believe the brand was Tile Lab. It was in a green bottle.
I do not know what the granite is.
I will follow your advice and apply more sealer and if that fails the acetone. I will then conduct the water test.
Thank you again.
