Seems, everyone is blaming the website for what "might" happen. Where is the parental control for these 7 year old girls that are using the site? Dont blame the site, blame the people for letting their young kids use it.

I agree with Scott.
If there is no demand for this Web site, then it would not exist.
I'm quite confident that my daughter was raised in a such a manner that she would not be interested in a site like that.
On the other hand, the mere existence of the site poses no danger to me or my family whatsoever. So long as it is not forced upon me, I can coexist with such trash.

I'll give a third! Lack of perental supervision here. There are many sites much more provacative than that one. Kids need better parenting, period. Some of the kids my kids go to school with........ A real lack of good parenting. WHERE'S SUPERNANNY!!! :)

I'll 4th it.
If you, as a parent, do not know exactly what your kids are doing on the internet either A) you ought not be a parent or B) your kids ought not be connected to the internet.
When we finally allowed ours to have access it was under the strictest of terms. #1: You have no right, zero, to demand any privacy for as long as you live in this house and are a minor under our care. Although I may grant you some level of privacy I will strip it under the slightest provocation. #2: I know what sites you visit and I know your passwords. I have NO qualms whatsoever with tracking your activities, and I do. #3: If you minimize a window when I walk by you loose use of the computer for two weeks. Do it again and loose for a month. #4: You will not, ever, have a computer - especially with internet access, in your bedroom so do not bother asking (ditto for a TV, microwave, video games). Consider yourself lucky that you have a phone and a door.

Oh, I completely agree. It is the role of parents to supervise this sort of thing. People who allow their children to traffic such a site aren't much better than the ones who created it. I never meant to imply that the site was responsible. I just think it's totally tasteless and time and money could be much better spent.

It's tasteless, Neesie, but it obviously sells. That's all they're after.

I agree with Dan 100%. As a matter of fact, my 10 year old doesn't have a door at the moment, but for other reasons. His 7yo sister locked her door to keep him out and he was banging on the knob with a hair brush to get her to unlock it. He dented her knob, so he lost his door.
Extreme? I don't know, but like I heard it said before. "If I am not allowed to deal with my child now the way I see fit, then you as a society will have to deal with him later"!
Words many should consider living by.
