My house is not threatened, however my regular route to work is now flooded.
Here it is this morning, I drove through this and a couple more like it, but by tonight it was totally impassable. Now I'll have to go about 30 miles outta my way. Oh well, at least gas isn't expensive or anything. :cry:

My sincere sympathies to anyone who has to deal with this or worse, the aftermath. Benn through it twice in 94 and again in 98. They told us that the 1994 flood was a "500 yeard flood." Then four years later we had another one although it was quite as bad. Shoulda known them gummit folks can't count.

Here is a couple more pics I snapped on the way to work yesterday. Sorry about the poor quality, hard to take good pics with a phone from a moving vehicle. :D
In the first pic, that roadway you see is a freeway on ramp. In the others, it looks like a lake, it's not. :shake: The good news is, nobody has been hurt or killed, that I know of.
