eh Mike, it's not a shampoo shelf. I've made plenty of those over the years.

The home owner wanted a place to set his coffee mug for when he got into an engaging read during his morning constitution. :D

I suppose to each his own, but a place for one's coffee cup while in the???? for one's constitution is beyond me. :D

It looks like he'd need a 5 foot long arm to reach that shelf while seated

or is that just a camera illusion?

I was planing on putting it a little closer on the opposite wall but the wife didn't want it there. it would of been too close to set it on the other side of the tp/magazine rack. it's a little bit of a reach but not as far as it looks in the picture.

This individual is not aware that 80% of your taste sensors are triggered by scents. Crappy coffee indeed.

I would have made a matching marble shelf instead.

With a 13" tile it looks like it could be at least 24 " away from the front of the seat. Cool though :)
