Whats a chemtrail?

In the early 80's I believe, the UN passed legislation stating that weather manipulation was not to be used in war. Scientists have talked about this on the nerd channels several times, that I have seen, in order to alter hurricanes.

Chemtrails and contrails are two different things. Contrails are the result of jet engine exhaust in the cold air, (basically) and chemtrails are intentional spraying to attempt to alter weather or possibly other reasons, people claim.

Being able to deter a cat 5 hurricane from destroying, say, Miami would be beyond the word "profitable".

"Conspiracy ?",,,, the gov't conspires to gain new technology in secret all the time,, but to conspire together can either be for good or for evil, according to ol' Webster, but most commonly accepted understanding as evil. So the question is what is the intention? Our motives can often decieve us and lead us to a place we didnt want to be, even with what we thought to be the best of intentions. Some conspire for good,,others for greed and all it takes for the whole bushel to look bad is a few rotten apples.

I think the jets are just using different fuel.
I seen a special on it and they said that only the US Govt. planes had
long contrails.......maybe its because there using the good gas that isn't taxed ? ;)

I worked on military aircraft for 10 years....and believe me when I say, there is nothing really special about the fuel. Air Force use's JP-8 fuel which basically is a Jet-A type fuel with some additives to prevent corrosion to the motors and fuel system.

I could tell you how the B-2 eliminates it's contrails, but then I would have to kill ya.... :tongue:

This is the first time I have really done any looking at this subject. I had
heard about this in the past, but never given it any thought. I found a
website that seems to have a lot of info on this. I can't say anything about
the validity of course, but it is interesting. Just to be "fair and balanced", I thought I would post an opposing view.

I think the jets are just using different fuel. coconut oil. Seriously: A little after 11.30 yesterday morning, a Boeing 747 running on jet fuel and the oil from 150,000 coconuts parted company with the runway at Heathrow and slipped into a hazy blue sky. (actually, "yesterday" was Feb 24.)

I know it's possible. My wife changes the weather at my house on a daily basis. One day warm, the next day cold, another day stormy followed by fair weather. And she leaves no contrails through the house at all except for when she eats too much corn bread. :)

Frankly, I wouldn't put anything past our *cough* government *cough*.

I started getting interested in this a few months ago and one thing led to another.

Alleged Chem Trail Military Aircraft (http://www.ethericwarriors.com/ip/viewtopic.php?t=1153&highlight=chemtrail+aircraft) When I first saw this image, was like WTFFFF!!!

The link above is to a forum that talks about chem trails and ways to fight them using a homemade "cloud buster" - which has also been shown (allegedly) to help produce rainfall. The cloud busters go back a few decades, according to some other stuff I read on it during that weekend of total absorption.

Personally, I'm still not convinced that the government is trying to poison parts of the general masses... stranger things have happened.

Well, in my humble opinion I do believe there is a difference in Chem and Con trails. I have paid particular close attention to the sky when I've been on trips. I don't see them where I live too much because it's cloudy most of the time. I've seen a lot in Bend, OR, Phoenix, AZ and Las Vegas. What I have noticed is that on certain days there aren't any, and on other days there are. So for example, in Las Vegas, I stayed at the MGM and viewed the airport and the sky, the whole time I was there, since I had a view of the airport. Most days there were no contrails, and you would think that if con and chem trails were the same, then they would exist everyday. The winds or weather were no different, either, on all of the days I was there, until the day after I noticed chemtrails were sprayed. The winds blew in so severely, I got a little worried. It was horrible. The day I saw the Chemtrails, the sky looked like a checkerboard. They were everywhere, and it took a long time for them to start blowing off into a northerly direction. They never dissapated, they just spread out and moved north. I have watched several other airports and I've never notice this around their vicinity. I see jets flying all of the time and sometimes they'll leave a little plume, but it disappears fairly readily. There is a definite difference. Every time that I have seen a lot of these types of straight lined plumes in checkered patterns, the weather has turned the next day, gotten cloudy and always rained, except in Vegas, where it just got VERY windy. I have witnessed this approx 20 times, since I've been aware of them over the last 3 years. I haven't studied it enough to know just exactly why they're spraying, but the consensus seems to be that it has something to do with barium and aluminum being sprayed, due to test results, and that they are trying to repair the hole in the ozone. I've had a chemist try to explain to me what this would mean, but it's hard to understand the chemical reactions that happen in the atmosphere. AND why wouldn't we wonder if they're spraying something? Look what they did in Vietnam, by spraying Agent Orange. They were defoliating the forest, so our soldiers could see the enemy better. They were too stupid to wonder if Agent Orange would hurt our own men. They are idiots running this country, and I don't just mean the politicians. Anyway, that's my opinion, for what it's worth.
