sealer - moisture vapor transmission ???

Questions about sealing grout in porcelain shower. Trying to decide what grout sealer to use. Saw one kind that said "allows moisture vapor transmission" and one that said "does not allow moisture vapor transmission". What are they talking about and do I want the one that allows or doesn't allow vapor transmission. As I said this is a shower. I am especialy concerned about the shower floor. Thanks for your help.

Typically impregnating sealer allow vapor transmission, this helps things dry out and prevent mildew,and help stones stay intact,i would use that.
