Kerdi fix?????

I have a small spot or two about 5 feet up on a shower wall that I need to fix. The spots are tiny holes in the kerdi membrane. I realize that schluter makes kerdi fix but I was wondering if silicone was something that can be used. If not what is the reason for not being able to use it. Thanks.

If you're interested in preserving the Schluter warranty, you're gonna have to fix it their way. Instead of Kerdi-Fix, you could patch it with Kerdi or Kerdi-Band.

Out of curiosity, how did those holes get there?
