Hi Everyone,

The grout is drying as I type this, so I'm shopping for sealers. Here's what I've got:

Tub walls (not the ceiling) have 12x8 travertine and a few rows of a small (5cmX5cm) slate mosaic that match the floor

Floor is 12x12 Indian slate. Not too rough, not too smoth. Just right.

Nothing was sealed before the grout went in (grout is hydroment, if that matters).

I'm looking for the wet look on both the travertine on the walls and the slate on the floor. I'm sure you all saw this coming then: "what's the best sealer?" :)

Thanks in advance!

SJ

EDIT: I know how you guys love pictures so I added one. Any feedback on the pattern I came up with would be great too! :)

Stonetech color enhancing sealer, or check out the color enhancing options from Aldonchem.com. They will darken the stone a bit and give it a deeper look, not sure if it's the "wet" look you are after. If you are looking for a topical "wet" look, go with Aldon's Mexiglaze. I don't recommend the latter, but it is an option.

I like the Aqua Mix - High Gloss Sealer (http://www.aquamix.com/products/pg_detail.asp?pdid=2732&pgid=37155)
or the Stone Tech (Dupont) - High Gloss Sealer (http://www.stonetechpro.com/products/transform/hgfs/) .
